1968 : Graduation from University of Newcastle.
1964/1968 : Apprentice Casebourne & Leach, Ince & Co., London, Skaramanga Shipyards, Greece and Olympic Maritime, Monte Carlo.
1968/1972 : Superintendent Engineer and Assistant Naval Architect with BP Shipping London. Newbuilding projects and design including IGS, COW, LNG tanks etc., also offshore drilling rigs in N.Sea. Then project leader in the BP-ESSO-ARCO Consortium for m/t ?Manhattan? project for the first commercial icebreaking voyages of the Northwest Passage to Alaska. Lieutenant in the Technical Corps, Hellenic Army.
1972/1977 : Part-time Consultant, Superintendent and Technical Director with Offshore Oil Services (Rethymnis & Kulukundis Group). Drilling rigs and FPSO-FLOSU modifications plus operation of tanker/OBO fleet.
1977/1982 : Technical Director and Partner with Naval Engineering Dynamics Ltd. in charge of the conversion and supervision of a fleet of bulk carriers and tween-deckers. Also specifications/plan approval supervisions of tankers/bunkers/general cargo ship newbuildings in Japan and Singapore.
1982/present : Technical Services of Naval Engineering Dynamics transferred to Marine Technical Bureau Ltd. Clients are Shipping Companies, Clubs, Lawyers, Adjusters, Banks and Shipbrokers. Operated branches in Korea, Singapore and China for similar work and site management of newbuildings, also in USA and Sweden, for Greek and foreign companies.
